hey all. i want you to know that I've picked up the book again. And while I'm only 30 or so pages in, I plan to pursue it as time allows.

A Mockingbird Triad Bookclub Book.
They came so very trustingly. They were so very human in their protests. They had done nothing to deserve it.

Cool! I just finished and hope to post some more thoughts soon. Who else is reading the book and blog?
I got another chapter of the book read last week too... now I'm on chapter 3!
I have to say that I was not as moved by the first packing house scene in chapter 2 as I might have been if I hadn't read Fast Food Nation already a couple years ago. I felt a little numb to it because I'd already been shocked by those conditions before. I think my response to the images disturbed me more than the images themselves.
